As the demand from MRP changes, SourceDay displays a summary of MRP generated move ins, move outs, and cancellations to allow strategic opportunities to protect revenue and optimize cash flow. The MRP Exceptions Dashboard makes it easy to view the total value of move ins, move outs, and cancellations.

How to Take Action
Locate the PO Line(s) you want to update in the PO Exceptions dashboard.
Click the dropdown menu that defaults to Hold for Review.
-
Select the desired action:
-
Hold for Review – Keeps the PO line and exception visible in the dashboard.
No changes are sent to the supplier.
Propose Change – Sends the Requested Date (or other changes) to the supplier for acceptance or counter-proposal.
-
Remove Exception – Removes the exception message from the dashboard.
When exceptions are ignored, SourceDay will filter out the exception when the report generates again.
Propose Cancellation – Sends a proposed cancellation of the PO line to the supplier.
-
Optional: Add an additional message
-
Click Submit.
Until you click submit, no changes will take place.
Once submitted, the selected actions are applied.
-
For Propose Change or Propose Cancellation, the proposed change is sent to the supplier for response.
When the supplier responds the buyer on the line will be notified to review the PO Line in their Supplier Proposed Changes view on the PO Dashboard. Once the buyer accepts then the PO Line will update in your ERP.
This review step can be bypassed by enabling Auto push buyer proposals.
Bulk vs. Individual Actions
Individual: Select one exception → choose the action → click Submit.
Bulk: Choose your action on multiple exceptions Multi-select PO lines → repeat → click Submit once for all.
Select All: You can remove all or fill all using the action at the top of the list → click Submit once for all.
⚠️ Important: Submitting is the final step. Without it, actions will not be applied or sent to the supplier.
Indicates PO is awaiting vendor response.
