We are launching the new and improved emails for all Buyers and Suppliers. What's improved? Click here to learn more.
Clear Communication: POs within the email are grouped by the action required to make it easier to understand what actions are required.
Update Types and Reason columns are added to help understand the changes.
Simpler and Faster actions: Links in the email will take you directly to the action that is required.
Benefits to Suppliers:
If new POs are created and need acknowledgement, clicking on the acknowledge orders will take you to the 'Acknowledge' action. Two clicks to Acknowledge POs.
You can configure where these links take you in the app. If you like the Tasks page, you can make this page your default landing page by clicking on the "Use as default landing page" checkbox on the top right corner of the page. Action links in the email will take your landing page with the action selected.
Less Clutter: Tab based notifications will not move POs to Updates Tab. POs will stay in the tab they belong to (Late, Radar etc). Reason on email will say:
POs in Updates - “Reminder: Please respond to last Buyer Update”
POs in Pending - “Reminder: Please acknowledge the PO”
POs in Late - “Reminder: PO is Late, please ship the PO or Update the Date.”
POs in Radar - These are called "Orders Due Soon" in the emails.
If Buyer is requesting you to "Confirm Delivery Date" - “Reminder: PO is Due in {X} days, please confirm that it can be delivered on time.”
If Buyer just wants to remind you - “Reminder: PO is Due in {X} days, please ship the PO or Update the Date.”
New Email Option: Single PO (15 minutes), emails grouped and sent for each Purchase Order every 15 minutes (if there are any updates). This is similar to Suppliers working on one PO at a time. This will drive all other future Supplier Initiatives - PO Delivery and Digital PO actions.
Item P/N is not a required field for bulk import. POs are matched based on PO Number and Line Number. If a PO is not matched based on this information supplier can provide additional information like Item P/N to better match a PO.
External Vendors Table
On the External Vendors table visible for buyer admin users:
if the vendor is not Enabled then they cannot be marked as Active.
The Targeted and Locked columns were also removed from the UI, since they were not used or reported on.

Buyer Notifications
Accountants are now able to send and receive responses to Buyer Notifications sent through Invoice Automation's Notify Buyer action. The Notify Buyer action sends an email to the address specified. The recipient of the email can reply directly to the email and the reply is attached as a note on the invoice.

GL Account Maintenance
Accountants are now able to import GL Accounts based on the segmentation defined using GL Account Segments. The user is able to upload a CSV file in a specified format. After uploading the user will receive a confirmation email, showing the status of the upload. If the GL Accounts were created successfully, then the user would see this message. If the GL Accounts were not created successfully, the the user would receive a CSV report on which GL Accounts failed to upload and a brief message on why that record could not be imported. The GL Account import supports creating new GL Accounts and updating Existing GL Accounts that have the same "Name" for the Integration endpoint and site.
Miscellaneous Features
Non PO Invoices are checked for a duplicate invoice number once the Supplier has been assigned to the Non PO Invoice.
