What Are We Trying to Accomplish?
Buyers have the ability to disable reminder notifications with the Disable Buyer Emails action. This action will turn off the reminder notifications for the selected lines based on the Tab Based Recurring Notifications settings you have set under the Email Notifications section of your Account Settings. These lines will still receive the initial action notification for New Orders, Updates and Late and notifications triggered by using the Notify Vendors and Mark Hot actions. Once you disable the buyer emails you can enable them again with the Enable Buyer Emails action.
How Do I Do It?
You will need to be in the Purchase Orders section in order to subscribe or unsubscribe from a PO line. You can get to this section by clicking on "Purchase Orders" at the top of your page.
Disabling Buyer Emails
1) Select the lines you want to disable reminder emails on by clicking the checkbox on each line
2) Once you click the first checkbox the Choose an Action flyout menu will appear on the left side
3) Click Disable Buyer Emails
4) Click on the Confirm button to disable reminder notifications for the selected order(s)
5) Once an order has had buyer emails disabled the order will be marked with the red bell icon under the Flags column
Re-enabling Buyer Emails
1) Select the lines you want to enable reminder emails on by clicking the checkbox on each line
2) Once you click the first checkbox the Choose an Action flyout menu will appear on the left side
3) Click Enable Buyer Emails
4) Click on the Confirm button to enable reminder notifications for the selected order(s)
5) Once an order has had buyer emails enable the red bell icon will be removed from the under the Flags column
