I can see the tracking number on the shipments table but when I try to click through it says the information says:
1) Your delivery status is not available
2) Oops the page you're looking for doesn't exist
When I enter the same number on the carrier site I can see all of the details of my order.
We use a third party called AfterShip to help fill in tracking details for us. Sometimes the following things can keep your tracking information from showing:
- A space before, after, or in the middle of the tracking number
- Special characters in the tracking number that were not from the original carrier site
Another common cause is if you just entered the information with the carrier - since we are working with a 3rd party it can take several hours for the information to get from the carrier to the AfterShip platform and then into our system. If more than 24 hours has passed, this is likely not the issue.
The other thing that can stop a tracking number from resolving is if the third party does not work with the carrier involved.
The best scenario is to remove spaces and extra characters from the URL and enter the tracking number exactly as it was sent from the carrier. You can always check if the tracking number will work by testing it out on this page.
