The Mission
Let's get started with SCRs (Supplier Component Reviews). These come into place if you have experienced a failed inspection and are wanting to work with the supplier on possible actions. (returns, correction of part information, refunds...)
An SCR will be created from a failed inspection if you choose the option "Notify Supplier (Create SCR)". These will be tracked in your dashboard on the right hand side. You will have the option to:
- Updated - View SCRs updated by the supplier
- Pending - View SCRs that are in progress
- Open - View open SCRs that have not yet need started
- Completed - View completed SCRs
- Create Ad Hoc SCR - Create an SCR for an item that was not run through normal inspection
Updated
Once a supplier has responded to an SCR you will see a new item appear in your updates tab. Once you view it, it will move to your pending tab. You will have the following options available:
- View/Comment - View or comment on the supplier update, once you view it, it will move to the "pending" tab
- Edit - Add the quantity being returned to the supplier
- Complete - Complete the SCR for the Buyer and Supplier - If this action is taken it cannot be undone and the supplier will no longer be able to update the SCR
Pending
Your pending tab will show you any SCRs that are in process.

Create Ad Hoc SCR
Sometimes you may need to create a one-off SCR for a shipment that was damaged or incorrect. We allow you to do that with a few quick clicks. If you feel this is more long term, you should set the part number to inspection required, however for these true one offs this is a quick solution, you would just not be able to submit steps for the inspection.
