The Mission
Let's get started with an inspection. This goes back to the quality items settings in your "Account Settings" on the PO side. Items that have "Inspection Needed" will flow to the inspections tab. If you are missing an inspection, you should first double check that you have enabled that item for inspections.
Pro Tip: Once you have completed an inspection, there is no way to go back and edit the inspection, please use save until you are ready to complete the inspection.
Let's Discuss what actions you will take in each of these tabs:
- New - Items you have not seen yet
- Open - Items you have viewed, or items where inspections are started
- Completed - Items where you have completed the inspection - some of these that failed inspection may have an associated SCR.
You will want to work these items from left to right on the table in order to ensure that you are aware of all items coming into your workflow. Remember, you may want to sort or filter your items, you can get a refresher on your options from this article about dashboard functionality, remember, this acts very different from PO sorting and filtering available.
