The Mission
Using filters is a great way to focus in on specific PO lines. The Update Types Filter can help you focus on POs lines with unresolved proposed changes, whether initiated by the buyer or supplier. By applying a filter to your PO Dashboard you can adjust the PO Lines visible in all tabs.
Pro-Tip: Be sure to enable the "Updates Types" Column under Manage Columns see how here.
How Do I Do It?
1. From the PO Dashboard, you'll notice the new filter Update Types.
2. Make your selection, choosing which type of updates you want to see on the PO Dashboard. Remember Supplier Proposed are going to be updates initiated by the supplier and Buyer Proposed will be updates initiated by the buyer. Both Suppliers and Buyers will be able to easily see who initiated the proposed changed. Changes that you need to review and accept will be on you Updates tab, changes you proposed will be on you Awaiting Receipt tab.
By default no options are selected, so all update types will be displayed in the PO table results. If any options are selected, the PO table will only display records where at least one of those types of updates require action. For example, a single PO line may have a supplier proposal with new Due Date and Cost, and a message sent that the buyer has not read. Selecting any of the Supplier Proposed Cost, Supplier Proposed Date, or Unread Messages for Buyer options will include that PO line in filter results.
Selecting all filters will only show POs with any of those updates and may impact loading times for the dashboard. To see POs with no changes, all Update Type filters need to be removed. To do this, click on Update Types filter, click on "select all" twice, this unselects all filters and then click submit.
