Suppliers can customize how dates appear throughout SourceDay. This update ensures suppliers can work with dates in a format that matches their region or preference, improving clarity when reviewing PO lines, shipping dates, commitments, and notifications.
This article explains how suppliers can configure their personal date format and how fallback behavior works.
⚠️ Important: If a user does not select a date format, SourceDay will default to MM/DD/YYYY format.
Supplier-level personal date format
Suppliers can now set their own date formatting, stored at the user level.
Who can edit this: Any supplier user
Where to set it: Account Settings → Account Preferences → Date Format
Your personal date format determines how dates appear to you:
All dates in the SourceDay UI
Templates and exports
Imports you upload
Email notifications you receive
Suppliers cannot:
Set or override buyer company-level date formatting
Change date formatting for other users in their organization
Your preference applies only to your own user account.
Adjust the date format
1. Open Account Settings by clicking your initial in the top right corner
2. Select Account Preferences from the left side
3. Pick your date format
Choose your preferred display format in the Date Format dropdown.

Your date format will now display across your entire UI.
