Once you’re logged into the SourceDay dashboard, you can control how often you receive email notifications and what types of updates you want to get. You can even forward notifications to a colleague if you're out of the office.
This guide will walk you through how to adjust those settings.
Step 1: Log in to the SourceDay Dashboard
First, make sure you’re logged into your SourceDay account. If you haven’t created a login yet, learn how to set up your login.
Step 2: Open your Account Settings
-
At the top of the dashboard, find your name in the upper-right corner.
-
Click the arrow next to your name to open the dropdown menu.
-
Select Account Settings.
Step 3: Choose email notification settings
-
In the Account Settings menu, click on Email Notifications (you’ll see this on the right-hand side).
-
You’ll now see a list of different types of email notifications you can receive.
Step 4: Set notification preferences
-
For each type of notification, choose how often you want to receive it by clicking the box to the right.
-
You can select options like real-time, daily, or never, depending on your needs.
-
Each section includes a recommended setting, which is a good starting point if you're not sure what to choose.
Step 5: Optional – Forward notifications to a colleague
-
To forward emails to someone else (such as when you’re out of the office), scroll to the Email Forwarding section.
-
Click the "off/on" toggle — when it turns blue, forwarding is turned on.
-
Enter the additional email address where notifications should be sent.
That’s It!
You’ve successfully customized your email notifications. These settings help ensure you're only getting the updates that matter most to you — and that your team stays informed when you're away.
