Once you’re ready to ship items on a Purchase Order (PO), you can easily add shipping details, generate an Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN), and create a packing slip, all directly from the SourceDay email link.
Follow the steps below to complete your shipment process smoothly.
Step 1: Open the PO from your email

Search your email inbox for the PO notification that’s ready to ship.

Click the green “Review and Accept” button in the SourceDay email.

If the link has expired, you’ll see a pop-up option to resend it.

Requesting a new no-login link is quick and easy.

Step 2: Review All PO Lines
After the PO window (modal) opens:

Click the arrow next to the "Required Actions" dropdown.

Select “Review All Lines” so you can see the full PO.
Step 3: Mark the PO as shipped (or Ready to ship)

Scroll to the bottom right of the PO window.

Click “More Actions.”

Select “Mark as Shipped.”
Step 4: Add shipping details
You’ll now see a shipment window where you can complete the shipping information.
Here’s what you can add (these options will vary per buyer company):
Shipment Header Options

Shipment Number
-
Shipment Date
Documents & Details
-
Bill of Lading (BOL)
-
Container ID
-
Packing Slip Number
-
Tracking Number
Once all required details are filled in, click the green “Mark as Shipped” button in the bottom right to finalize.
