Based on user feedback, SourceDay now offers a list of suggested views to help buyers streamline their custom Purchase Order (PO) views. You can explore these suggested views and customize them further by adding additional filter criteria as needed. Simply select a view from the list and follow the prompts to input the necessary information. Once saved, the view will be added to your 'My Views' list, where you can further filter, rename, or edit it as desired.

Build your own views
There are few recommended views that you can set up with advanced filters to help you get started on PO Collaboration.

Hot filter
- Start in the All open view (or specific view if desired) & click on filters
- Within the filter window click on “+ Add another filter” (leave the risk type as is or adjust as needed)
- Scroll to select Hot from the drop down menu (leave toggle to on)
- Click View results
- To save click on “Save as new view” button in the top right corner.
Buyer name filter
The default views display all POs within your company. You can filter the default views to show only your views using the My POs filter at the top. You can also create additional views with buyer or planner name(s) as needed.
- Start from any view you would like to filter (we recommend All Open to get started)
- Open the filter window and adjust the currently applied filters or leave as is
- Add a new filter and select Buyer from the drop down menu
- Then select the buyer(s) listed in the drop down menu & View results
- To save click on “Save as new view” button in the top right corner.
- You can easily replicate any default view with your buyer name
The example below shows a Hot filter with buyer names added.
Awaiting response
This filter is a nice way to keep track of POs lines in which you or your buyer team have created change proposals.
- Start from any view you would like to filter to show only your POs or POs in a specific buyer’s name.
- Open the filter window and adjust the currently applied filters or leave as is
- Add a new filter and select Awaiting response from the Quick Filters
- Then select the exact type of response you are waiting for from the supplier using the drop down menu and click View results.
- To save click on “Save as new view” button in the top right corner.
The example below applies a buyer filter and Awaiting response for buyer proposed changes to the date, quantity, and/or cost.
Late order lines
The previous late tab is now a filter you build based on your teams definition of late. This method allows you to focus only on the late orders that the greatest impact or that have crossed specific threshold.
1. Start from All Open view.
2. Optional: Select the buyer name to add that to the filter.
3. Select Order status from the the list of quick filters.
4. From the drop down menu scroll down to select Late.
5. To save click on “Save as new view” button in the top right corner.
Alternatively you can create specific late filters using Due date (or another date option) and applying a specific time frame. In the example below the filter will pull all open POs within the last 2 years.
Orders coming due (Radar)
The previous Coming Due Soon (Radar) tab can be created to your teams specifications. This view is one of the suppliers default views based on the buyer team's admin settings. Allowing you to create this view based on your specifications gives you the ability to determine the parameters of when orders are approaching the date you select.
1. Start from All Open view.
2. Select the buyer name to add that to the filter.
3. If using Due Date as the collaboration date - you can apply that quick filter or you can select another date option from the drop down (such as promise date or vendor commit).
4. Select "is on or after" & determine the date range.
5. To save click on “Save as new view” button in the top right corner.
Critical parts
Buyers and suppliers can keep track of critical or low quantity parts easily by creating a unique view based on part number. The example here will filter order lines for a specific part that have a proposed change to quantity, a cancelation or a split line proposal. Users have add additional filters as needed.
Order destination
Buyers and suppliers can sort their POs by where they are headed using a variety of fields from the Ship to address or name or warehouse field. This allows for quick create of ASNs and easy viewing of POs for specific warehouses. The example below shows shipped order lines filtered by Ship To Name. This view can then be sorted by due date and exported to share with receiving teams.
By project or job
With the filters you can set up project based views using the project identifies fields like Project name or Project number. Add as many filters as need to get the specific POs you need. The example below will show POs for all vendors, with a supplier proposed change for a specific project.
