The new search feature significantly improves how you find POs by making it faster and easier to get the results you need. Now, when you search, it scans all columns and organizes the matching results in a dedicated results page. This is a big upgrade from the previous system, where you had to check multiple tabs or views to find which PO line met your criteria.
Previously, PO lines could appear across different tabs, such as Updates, Messages, All Open, or Late, depending on their status (e.g., late, supplier-proposed changes, or unread messages). This meant users had to check each tab individually to gather the full picture. With the new search results page, all PO lines that match your search criteria are displayed in one convenient place, saving you time and effort by removing the need to switch between views.
The new search feature centralizes everything in one location, streamlining your workflow and making it easier to find relevant POs.

Search for POs
To start, click on the search box at the top left of the screen, or use the shortcut keys: Control + K (or Command + K on Mac). This feature lets you search through all open POs based on your specific criteria. Our search tool is designed to help you locate POs even if you have limited information.
The search box will appear, displaying any filters that are currently applied. For example, if you're viewing the Supplier Proposed Changes view, that filter will automatically be applied to your search. You can remove filters by clicking the blue filter boxes.
Next, enter your search criteria in the search box and press Enter (or Return) to see the results. A list of open POs that match your criteria will be displayed. If you need to search for closed orders, simply click the link at the bottom of the results page.
Note: instead of changing the PO numbers in the views a unique search page will be populated. This will help you identify all the POs that match your search criteria regardless of their status. Instead of having to click into multiple views to find POs they will all be listed.
For POs you need to check regularly, you can save your search results as a new view. Just click the "Save as New View" button in the top right of the results page. This view will be saved under "My Views" for easy access in the future.
