Buyers can easily see how and when their custom workflows have impacted PO lines. This visibility helps you confirm automation is working as expected and provides a clear audit trail of actions taken by AI agents.
Review workflow activity in the run log
From the Automation Center, open the Run log to see a list of all PO lines that a custom workflow has impacted, or would have impacted if the workflow is staged.
- Confirm that workflows are running as expected.
- Understand how automation is influencing supplier collaboration.
- Review what would have been automated before going live.
You can filter the run log by workflow status (staged, live, or failed) and adjust the time period.
Check workflow conditions for each PO
Hover over the Action column to see the specific conditions that triggered each workflow action. This helps you understand why an AI agent took action.
Review the full PO line history
For a detailed view, click PO history in the last column of the run log. This opens the complete record of every action taken on that PO line.
Identify AI agent activity
When an AI agent takes action, the PO history includes an entry marked “auto-action”, listing:
- The name of the workflow that ran.
- The specific AI agent that performed the action.
In the example below, a proposed change was auto-accepted by a custom workflow called “Accept date changes <7 days” and completed by the PO Change Agent.
Why this is helpful
- Validate your automation setup - confirm that workflows behave as intended.
- Build trust in AI-driven decisions - see when and why automations occurred.
- Strengthen your audit trail - maintain transparency across every PO update.
