Within your SourceDocs library, users can take several actions. Any users on your team can take actions on documents in SourceDocs. Actions include:
Delete Document from SourceDocs
Review SourceDoc Associations
Associating a document within SourceDocs is how users can attach a document to a PO, PO Line, Item part number, ASN, or supplier.
- Click on the dropdown arrow next to your name at the top right of the page, then choose "SourceDocs"
- On this page you will see a column called "Associations"
- There will be multiple items in that column
- Buyers will see - Suppliers | Items | PO Lines
- Suppliers will see - Buyers | Items | PO Lines | Shipments
- Click on each of the links in order to see what the items are attached to
Detach or Remove Associations
1) Click the checkboxes next to the attachments you would like to detach
2) Click the Actions dropdown and select Detach
3) Choose Items To Detach
- Click the checkbox next to each item you want to detach
- Click the Select all checkbox to select all listed items
- Click the Detach button
Edit SourceDoc
You can edit the attributes of a document, but you cannot replace a document. If you need to update a document we would suggest:
- Delete the document
- Then uploading a new doc
- Then adding the associations back in
If you are wanting to modify the attributes of a document:
1) Click the lightning bolt dropdown on an attachment & select Edit
2) Enter a description and tags associated with the attachment
3) Click the Save button
Delete SourceDoc
First off, make sure that you really really want to delete the document. There is no undo or recycle bin and we cannot recover the document for you once it is deleted.
1) Select the document(s) by clicking on the open box on the left side.
2) Click the lightning bolt dropdown on an attachment for one document use the Actions dropdown menu for multiple lines and choose Delete
