There are few recommended filters that will help you get started on PO Collaboration.
Hot filter
Suppliers can keep track of order lines that are designated as Hot orders by their customers. The example pictured below filters Hot orders with buyer proposed changes.
1. Start in the All open view (or a specific view if desired like All Risk) & click on filters
2. Within the filter window click on "+ Add another filter"
3. Scroll to select or type Hot from the drop down menu (leave toggle on)
4. Click View results
5. Optional: to save click on "save as new view" button in the top right corner of the new view.
Company filter
For suppliers teams managing orders from multiple companies or buyers you man want to create specific views by company name.
1. Start in the All open view (or a specific view if desired like All Risk) & click on filters
2. Select the "Company" quick filter & select the appropriate company from the dropdown menu
3. Click View results
4. Optional: to save click on "save as new view" button in the top right corner of the new view.
Awaiting response
This filter is a nice way to keep track of POs lines in which you or your team have created change proposals.
- Start from the All Open view
- Open the filter window and adjust the currently applied filters or leave as is
- Add a new filter and select Awaiting response from the Quick Filters
- Then select the exact type of response you are waiting for from the buyer using the drop down menu and click View results.
- To save click on “Save as new view” button in the top right corner.
Late order lines
The previous late tab is now a filter you build based on your teams definition of late. This method allows you to focus only on the late orders that the greatest impact or that have crossed specific threshold.
1. Start from All Open view.
2. Select Order status from the the list of quick filters.
3. From the drop down menu scroll down to select Late.
5. To save click on “Save as new view” button in the top right corner.
Alternatively you can create specific late filters using Due date (or another date option) and applying a specific time frame. In the example below the filter will pull all open POs within the last 6 months.
Critical Parts
Buyers and suppliers can keep track of critical or low quantity parts easily by creating a unique view based on part number. The example here will filter order lines for a specific part that have a proposed change to quantity, a cancelation or a split line proposal. Users have add additional filters as needed.
Order destination
Buyers and suppliers can sort their POs by where they are headed using a variety of fields from the Ship to address or name or warehouse field. This allows for quick create of ASNs and easy viewing of POs for specific warehouses. The example below shows shipped order lines filtered by Ship To Name. This view can then be sorted by due date and exported to share with shipping teams.
By Project
With the filters you can set up project based views using the project identifies fields like Project name or Project number. Add as many filters as need to get the specific POs you need. The example below will show POs for all vendors, with a supplier proposed change for a specific project.
Note: You many need to enable these columns on your dashboard using the Columns button.
