The shipments dashboard allows buyers and suppliers to view and track all shipment activity in one place. Once purchase order (PO) lines are marked as shipped, their shipment details (advanced shipping notices, or ASNs) are stored and visible in this dashboard.
This article explains how to find, filter, and search shipments.
How do I find the Shipments Dashboard?
To open the shipments dashboard: Click shipments in the top navigation bar.
From the shipments dashboard, you can:
- View all shipment details at the header and line level
- Track shipment status across workflows
- Print packing slips and shipping labels
- Search and filter shipments to find specific data
The information available may vary based on your company’s configuration and shipment workflow.
Note: tracking data is only visible if supported carriers are used.
Shipment statuses
You can filter shipments by status to quickly understand where they are in the process:
- Shipped: shipment has been created and is in progress
- Completed: shipment has been fully processed in your ERP
- Ready to ship: supplier has indicated items are ready; buyer must complete shipment details
- Released: supplier has created an ASN; buyer must review and release to sync in the ERP
- Unshipped: shipment was previously created and then reversed
- All: displays both active and inactive shipments
Sort shipments
You can sort any column in the shipments dashboard:
- Click the column header to sort in ascending or descending order
- Use manage columns to adjust which columns are displayed and their order
In the Shipments Dashboard, you can review all details provided for each shipment line. Each column can be used to sort the dashboard in ascending or descending order using the up/down arrows next to the column name. Use Manage Columns to adjust the order and columns displayed.
Use advanced search
Advanced search allows you to create more detailed queries using multiple shipment fields.
To use advanced search:
- Click advanced search next to the export button
- Select one or more fields from the add column dropdown
- Apply your search criteria
You can include both standard SourceDay fields and any custom fields from your integration.
Saved search behavior
Your advanced search selections are saved automatically. When you return to SourceDay, your previous search results will still be applied.
To reset your view, clear your search criteria from the advanced search panel.
How to tell if a search is applied
A red indicator shows how many fields are currently included in your search.
