One of the first tasks a new buyer should accomplish in their PO Dashboard is customize the PO lines and details displayed on the dashboard. This will ensure you see exactly the POs and details you need. This article will help you set up:
1. My POs
My POs
The first time you login to SourceDay, all POs with your company will be displayed in your views. This top level filter will adjust POs displayed in your default views in Needs attention and PO lifecycle. This filter does not adjust any custom views.
Once this filter is set up you can toggle off and on to adjust the POs that are displayed in your Needs attention and PO lifecycle views. |
Click on My POs to open and apply filters. Users can select buyer name, planner name, site & ERP instance. Available options will depend on ERP and implementation. Once your filters are set click save and then toggle the My POs filter to ON.
Dashboard columns
You can adjust the arrangement of the dashboard columns, show or hide specific columns to customize the PO data you need to see at a glance. You can also select to update just one view or all of your default views. Custom views may have their own column arrangement
Enable columns by toggling them to blue; disable by toggling them to grey. Move columns up by clicking and holding anywhere on the column name and dragging and dropping it to the desired location. Columns listed top down will display on the dashboard left to right.
When you are done, click submit to save your changes. You may need to refresh the page in order to see your new column order
Recommended columns for your PO Dashboard
The follow columns may be helpful to enable:

Proposal columns: Qty Prop, Vendor Commit, Cost Prop
We recommend placing these columns next to each other:
- Qty Ordered, Qty Prop, Qty Shipped, Qty Received
- Cost, Cost Prop
- Due date, Vendor Commit, Promise date (if using), Ship date (if using)
- PO Notes, messages
Custom saved views
You can build custom views of specific POs and save them.
Starting from the All open view - you can add as many rules and filters as needed to create the exact view you need. Then click on the save view button to name & save the filter.
