What Are We Trying to Accomplish?
We all understand in this current environment that the supplies you are trying to source can be somewhat fluid. If you have sent a request for a bid out to your suppliers and you need to cancel the request, this can be accomplished in a couple of steps.
Retracting an RFQ will unpublish the request and send a notification email to the invited suppliers. Please make sure to provide a reason to your suppliers for the retraction.
Where Can I See It?
Once you have retracted a bid it will show on your "Requests" tab as "Retracted"
If you click into the Bid from the "Requests" tab you will see if has a new status of "Retracted"
How Do I Do It?
NOTE: Once an RFQ has been retracted it cannot be published again. You will need to create a new RFQ
1) From the "Requests" tab - click on the name of the request that you would like to retract
2) Click on the "Bid Settings" dropdown on the top right side of your screen and select "Retract"
3) Enter the reason that you would like to retract the request for bid and click the "Retract" button
