What Are We Trying to Accomplish?
The clone function allows you to take a previously created RFQ and create an exact copy of that request with the same information. All contacts, items, documentation, and FAQ will be carried over to the new RFQ. Once your new request is cloned you will be able to add and remove any contacts, items, or documentation as needed for your new request.
This can be a big time saver for items that you create requests for over and over again, with a few button clicks your request can be sent out to your suppliers for bidding.
Where Can I See It?
You can access this by clicking on the title of the request from the request dashboard, once there you will click on "Bid Settings" and then choose "Clone"
How Do I Do It?
1) Click on the Bid Settings dropdown
2) Select Clone
3) Update the Title, Description, and New Deadline for the new copy of the RFQ
4) Click the Create New Version button
When you go back to the dashboard you will now see your new request as a draft and you can edit the request as normal until it is published.
